When ProLingo was first started by a sole operator as professional simultaneous interpretation service, a basic need was served. Back then, in 2001, the mission was to provide the customer with the best interpretation experience possible, which was largely based on good customer service and professional delivery.

As with other niche markets, individualism and personal touch often substituted for technical achievement.

Over the next five years, and nearly 1000 assignments, ProLingo built up a vast treasure of accomplishments and experiences. When the service teams’ achievements reached a point where an improvement in service alone would not result in actual advancement, the technical challenge was presented to improve the one item immediately affecting the customer experience with interpretation: the receiver.

ProLingo built a new audience receiver which immediately outperformed all established brand products. ProLingo followed up with a redesign of the commonly available interpreter control units and helped redesign the market-leading booths introduced during infocomm09 in Orlando, FL.

In the 15 years since then ProLingo has been the host of the largest Simultaneous Interpretation equipment inventory in North America, which includes Push to Talk microphones and an extensive InfraRed Language distribution inventory to supplement clients such as the UN.

With a constant desire to improve the interpretation experience for interpreters and audience members alike, digitization was the next step and we teamed up with an international APP-design firm to develop our proprietary remote interpretation platform. Using ProLingo’s 20 years of experience and deep insight in advancement of interpretation tools we have made an outstanding platform.
