Polyglot World Conference Set for Ljubljana Slovenia
October 5, 2018

On October 26-28, polyglots from around the globe will meet in Ljubljana, Slovenia, to focus on languages in a way that is unique and exciting. The polyglot conference consists of two days of diverse seminars on subjects, such as:
- workplace applications for polyglot skills
- language families and linguistics
- individual languages and linguistics
- review of recent polyglottery research
- new language learning resources
- language themes of the host city
At this year's gathering, one day will be devoted to exploring language learning techniques as well as discussions of how polyglots can best apply their skills more effectively in business and academics.
Attendees at this year's event will be able to communicate with other polyglots in numerous languages. Entrepreneurs, professionals and linguists from around the world have an opportunity to advance their language learning while sharing in this most-unique experience. Time is also provided for attendees to explore the fascinating and culturally rich country of Slovenia, which sits at the crossroads of Italy, the Balkans and Central Europe.
The annual convention of multilingual speakers grew from the earliest connection of polyglots on the internet via websites and YouTube videos. In May of 2013, global language enthusiasts met in Budapest, Hungary, to share stories and practice their language skills face-to-face. The excitement grew and subsequent conferences have been held in Serbia, New York City, Greece and Iceland. Ljubljana is the capital of Slovenia and an ideal geographic location to celebrate multilingualism.
Vidimo se v Sloveniji!
